Device Engineer

We are looking for a Device Engineer to join our Easy4u Device repairs Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnose incoming laptops for defects and damage and log appropriately.

    ·      Be able to install a windows operating system.

    ·      Maintenance of equipment, specialist repairs/modifications upgrades, software/hardware enhancements within own capabilities.

    ·      Diagnose a hardware problem vs Accidental Damage. 

    ·      Ability to provide “neat” fixing, including cleaning of devices and making sure the device is sealed properly. Training will be provided.

    ·      Able to check work appropriately and feel empowered to feedback/update tickets with diagnostic results and allocate ESD locations to repairs as part of our quality assurance process.

    ·      Provide a basic level of Technical Support to end users on a 1st Line if needed.

    ·      Update tickets with relevant Easy4u status in line with relevant repair diagnosis.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in the IT Field is desirable.

    ·      An ability to demonstrate your competence with repairing/building hardware.

    ·      A can do attitude to provide the best service to our customers.

    ·      A self starter – we are looking for suggestions on how to enhance our service.

    ·      Ability to work with quality and speed hit the road running in time for summer productions.
