Device Engineer - Easy4u

The Role:  

CTS are looking for an Easy4u Engineer to work on site at our Crawley based Service Centre. Together with your team you will diagnose and repair laptops and help in other areas of the operations department when needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Diagnose incoming laptops for defects and damage and log appropriately.
• Able to install a windows operating system.
• Able to check work appropriately and feel empowered to feedback Update tickets with diagnostic results allocate ESD locations to repairs as part of our quality assurance process.
• Work with our Easy4u Service Platform and Helpdesk System to record items and ensure that Customers are informed of your progress with their repair.
• Ability to provide “neat” fixing, including cleaning of devices and making sure the device is sealed properly. Training will be provided.

Skills & Requirements:

 

• Experience in the IT Field is desirable
• An ability to demonstrate your competence with repairing/building hardware
• A can-do attitude to provide the best service to our customers
• A self-starter – we are looking for suggestions on how to enhance our service.
• Ability to work with quality and flexibility to meet customer demands.

Due to the nature of this role involving visiting education establishments successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by CTS.
