Customer Support Intern (3 month Summer Placement)

This is an exciting moment to join us. The market is evolving rapidly, and we are expanding our UK-based team to take the next step in delivering outstanding service to our partner schools, as well as to the students and parents who rely on Easy4u devices every single day.

We are looking for a Customer Support Intern to join our Crawley-based Service Centre for the summer season. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced technology service environment. You will be a vital link in delivering outstanding service to parents and students, ensuring they have consistent access to digital devices. You will work closely with our permanent team to understand customer needs and address them effectively.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • First-Line Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Relationship Building: Deliver friendly, professional, and empathetic service to build strong customer relationships.
  • Information Delivery: Provide clear, accurate, and timely responses to questions regarding device status and service protocols.
  • Issue Resolution: Follow established processes to resolve issues or escalate complex queries to the appropriate senior team members.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, service improvement initiatives, and summer-specific projects.
  • Data Management: Assist with administrative tasks and documentation within the CRM to ensure accurate customer records.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Essential:
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Competence using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or administrative environment
  • Desirable:
  • Current enrolment in or recent graduation from a University or Higher Education program or equivalent.

Due to the nature of this role involving visiting education establishments successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by CTS.
