CTS seeks to develop and bring to market innovative solutions. We are looking for a **Device Repairs Engineer** to work on-site at our **Crawley** based Service Centre. Together with your team you will diagnose and repair laptops and help in other areas of the operations department when needed.   ## **Key Tasks** **Technical** **· Diagnose incoming laptops for defects and damage** and log appropriately. · Be able to install a windows operating system. · Maintenance of equipment, specialist repairs/modifications upgrades, software/hardware enhancements within own capabilities. · Diagnose a hardware problem vs Accidental Damage. · Ability to provide “neat” fixing, including cleaning of devices and making sure the device is sealed properly. Training will be provided. · Able to check work appropriately and feel empowered to feedback/update tickets with diagnostic results and allocate ESD locations to repairs as part of our quality assurance process. · Provide a basic level of Technical Support to end users on a 1st Line if needed. · Update tickets with relevant Easy4u status in line with relevant repair diagnosis. **Customer Service** · Knowledge of dealing with individuals and resolving issues in a timely manner. · Ability to communicate well in written English. · Work with our Easy4u Service Platform and Helpdesk System to record items and ensure that Customers are informed of your progress with their repair. · A strive for quality, rather than quantity. **Essential Requirements** · Experience in the IT Field is desirable. · An background in repairing/building hardware. · A can do attitude to provide the best service to our customers. · A self starter – we are looking for suggestions on how to enhance our service. · Ability to work with quality and flexibility to meet customer demands. **If you are interested in this role and would like to find out more, we would love to hear from you!**   Due to the nature of this role involving visiting education establishments successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure.
