Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Class Technology Solutions Ltd (“CTS”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business operations and supply chains.

We uphold ethical business practices and take proactive measures to ensure that slavery, forced labour and human trafficking have no place within our organisation or among those we work with.

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps we take to assess and mitigate the risks of modern slavery within our business and supply chains.

Our business

Class Technology Solutions Ltd provides ICT Managed Services to schools and other organisations across the UK.

Our operations include IT support services, procurement of hardware and software, and collaboration with suppliers, distributors and contractors.

We recognise that the ICT sector can present risks relating to modern slavery, particularly within global supply chains linked to hardware manufacturing and procurement.

We are committed to working with ethical suppliers and ensuring our business practices align with our values.

Our policies

CTS maintains policies and procedures that support ethical business conduct and responsible supply chain management.

  • Supplier Code of Conduct – requiring suppliers to adhere to fair labour practices, ethical working conditions and compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
  • Procurement Policy – ensuring due diligence is undertaken when selecting suppliers and partners
  • Whistleblowing Policy – encouraging employees and third parties to report concerns regarding unethical practices or human rights abuses
  • Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy – supporting integrity and ethical conduct in all business dealings

Risk assessment and due diligence

To reduce the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chain, CTS undertakes a range of due diligence activities.

  • Supplier risk assessments, particularly for suppliers operating in higher-risk regions or industries
  • Contractual commitments requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act and fair labour standards
  • Periodic supplier monitoring and compliance checks where appropriate
  • Employee awareness and training relating to modern slavery risks

Training and awareness

CTS provides training and guidance for relevant employees, particularly those involved in procurement and supplier management.

This supports awareness of modern slavery risks and promotes responsible sourcing and ethical decision-making.

Reporting and compliance

Employees, suppliers and third parties are encouraged to report concerns relating to modern slavery through our confidential reporting channels.

All concerns are taken seriously and investigated appropriately.

Where a supplier is found to be in breach of our modern slavery commitments, CTS may terminate the relationship and take appropriate corrective action.

Effectiveness and monitoring

CTS monitors the effectiveness of its approach to preventing modern slavery through:

  • Supplier compliance checks and contractual adherence
  • Review of concerns or incidents raised through whistleblowing channels
  • Periodic review of procurement and supplier management practices
  • Internal review of policy implementation and completed training

Continuous improvement

CTS recognises that addressing modern slavery requires ongoing attention and continuous improvement.

We will continue to review and strengthen our policies, procedures and supply chain management practices to improve transparency and ethical compliance.
